What is SEO?
What is SEO and how do I understand how to use it with my blog?
According to Rand Fishkin, the CEO of Moz.com, search engine optimization (SEO) is “the practice of increasing the quantity and quality of the traffic that you earn through the organic results in search engines.”
The goal of any SEO actions you take on your site or with individual posts is to allow Google to better index your content. When your content is correctly indexed, the visitors that arrive on your site are happy to stay awhile and read what you have to share.

It is important to complete the Alt text field as its purpose is to provide alternative information for folks who have disabled images in their browser or are simply unable to see them. Image title provides additional information and should follow the rules of a regular title.
See my previous post for a more detailed description of how to add data to the alt text and title fields.
